The events of the past week have reminded me of historic crises from my lifetime--the war years of childhood and the polio epidemic of the early 50s come to mind. As we are called to stay home from church and to practice social distancing in other areas of life, it will be good to remember that we are all in this together and will see it through. I also appreciated the Moderator's message: https://www.united-church.ca/news/moderator-god-us
and the beautiful and heartfelt prayer offered here: https://www.united-church.ca/prayers/prayer-during-times-covid-19
